Metric Spline Shaft

Metric spline shafts represent the most common spline shaft type, using 30° pressure angle involute splines. Modules range from 1 to 6 with teeth 11 to 45 and accuracy Grade 7-10. This product covers a wide application range from light-load transmission to heavy-load equipment. We have manufactured metric spline shafts for 21 years, making them a daily production item with stable, reliable quality.

Spline fit selection depends on operating conditions. Stationary connections use H/k fit with slight interference ensuring connection rigidity. Sliding connections use H/f fit with clearance allowing smooth movement. This selection is critical. If fit types are wrong, stationary connections with clearance cause impact noise, and sliding connections with interference cause sticking. Our technical team verifies correct fit selection during drawing review. Overall shaft length spans 80 to 700 millimeters with spline effective length 25 to 250 millimeters and shaft diameters from Φ12 to Φ95 millimeters.

We offer three material grades for your selection. Light-load applications use 45# steel for lowest cost. Medium-load applications use 40Cr steel offering better strength and wear resistance. Heavy-load applications use 20CrMnTi with carburizing and quenching for high tooth surface hardness and tough cores. Every batch includes span measurement M actual values, the core inspection indicator directly reflecting tooth thickness and fit clearance.
