Output Gear Shaft

Output gear shafts deliver power from the gearbox or reducer as the final transmission component. These shafts carry the highest torque loads, and any failure stops the entire equipment. Our 21 years of gear shaft manufacturing experience means we handle output gear shafts with particular care and precision. Modules range from 3 to 9 with tooth counts from 20 to 100 and face widths from 30 to 85 millimeters, controlled to Grade 8-9 accuracy.

Overall shaft length ranges from 180 to 800 millimeters. The output end features splines with module 2.5 to 6 and teeth 16 to 42. Spline fits use clearance fit design for easy assembly with couplings or flanges. For flanged output shafts, flange outside diameters range from Φ80 to Φ220 millimeters with mounting holes machined to your specified pitch circle dimensions. Transition fillets use R4 to R10 to reduce stress concentration.

All output gear shafts must use forged blanks. For heavy-duty construction equipment applications, we additionally perform ultrasonic testing to ensure no internal cracks or inclusions. Material options include 42CrMo or 20CrMnTi. 42CrMo receives overall quenching and tempering with tooth surface hardening, while 20CrMnTi receives carburizing and quenching for high surface hardness with tough cores. We inspect hardness and dimensions on every product before shipment.
