Transmission Gear Shaft

Transmission gear shafts for agricultural machinery serve as the main power shafts in farm equipment gearboxes. We designed this product specifically for tractors, harvesters, and other agricultural machines, integrating all six speed gears onto a single shaft. This saves space and simplifies assembly significantly. First and second gears handle low-speed heavy loads, using modules 4 to 8 with face widths from 35 to 90 millimeters. Fifth and sixth gears handle high speeds, using modules 3 to 5 with face widths from 25 to 60 millimeters. All six gear tooth counts are marked separately according to your transmission ratio requirements.

These long shafts have overall lengths from 200 to 750 millimeters with diameters from Φ28 to Φ95 millimeters. Every step transition receives R3 to R8 fillets with sharp corners prohibited. Axial dimension chain tolerances are controlled to ±0.02 millimeters. This precision directly affects meshing positions between each speed gear and its mating gear. If axial dimensions deviate, gears do not align properly during meshing, causing off-center loading or even disengagement. We inspect axial dimensions on every product before shipment.

Material is mandatorily specified as 20CrMnTi with carburizing and quenching treatment. Case depth ranges from 1.2 to 2.2 millimeters. Tooth surface hardness reaches HRC 58-62 while core hardness stays at HRC 30-40. Accuracy is controlled to Grade 8-9 levels, specifically matching agricultural application requirements. Higher accuracy increases costs while reducing impact resistance, so we prioritize gear tooth breakage prevention over operating noise reduction.

External splines use module 2.5 to 5 with teeth 16 to 40, designed to standard agricultural interface specifications. We support custom manufacturing based on your drawings and samples.
